There are those that would call it hubris. I however can only call it stupidity.
I woke up this morning to find footprints and cat hair covering the leek and scallion flat and all of the broccoli and cauliflower seedlings had been chewed. As you can see, my lovely seedlings have taken a beating.
Now, I knew this was coming. George has been casing the grow shelves for weeks now, but did I put up some kind of barrier? Nope. So now I get to start over. Fortunately, I had enough seeds left over for a second planting.
Today's garden activity: Installing a perimeter security system.
